If you want a bet, I bet that at least one person will become more multidimensional than anytime in history (lol history). Only problem with this bet is that we are already infinitely multidimensional but one can only know this when one knows it. 2012 is just a number but there are people right now who are becoming more adept at living in more frequencies/realities at once - they can percieve themSELVES in a more expanded way perhaps. But we are all doing this all the time, I think "more people" will realize this, which is to say that we will know ourselves better. For those who won't know themselves better, that is simply part of being multidimensional.

So I think by 2012 one (all of existence subjectively experiencing itself at a certain time and space, you could say one human mind - this could be your neighbor or friend even) will know oneself better than ever before.

I am the last person in the world to say that shrooms or acid can ruin normal people--and for all I know, these guys may have been like this to begin with--but I do know that a psychedelic can reinforce a crazy in his or her delusions, and you guys have an absolute motherfucking abundance of them.

You know damn well you've dodged everything I've said and I'm not going to go on yet another quote fest.  Read for yourself.  I noticed how you like to skip over things and pick out only the things you can try and be a smartass with. 

You like to go off on ridiculous tangents, when my main point at hand was that the process you guys took with the whole "betting thing", was poorly executed.

I'm very uninterested in trying to have a discussion with you.  Very bad form man.  I've already pegged you as someone who absoulutely needs to have the last word, the last smug remark, So fly at er :smile:

You got someone above me giving a clear definition and willing to take the bet...so now you can justifiely chew is observations and predictions to threads.  Just try to use some quality discussion tactics when doing it :thumbup:

My statement really isn't outrageous at all. If you want me to be scientific about it, I would say that the world will be more evolved but the evolution will be a spiritual one (and take the form of a spiritual person) who will understand themselves better than ever in history and may be able to pass on this understanding to others. Unlike Buddha they will still hold on to their Self, but the Self will integrate many different realities/perspectives/dimensions. That is the bet.

You better be prepared to defend that statement. You haven't made your predictions that concrete. May?

I find it pretty far-fetched myself. How could that even be judged by the arbiter of the bet? The evolution will be a spiritual one? What do you mean by that exactly? Can I also ask when and how you came to this prediction?

Let's hope people stick to some tactful debating.

You are the guru... the more one person evolves, the more we all evolve. I believe that evolution will continue as usual, and perhaps 2012 is a number that someone came up with so as to prepare themselves for their own evolution - self-directed evolution. By spiritual evolution I mean they will be in contact with more intelligence.

I came up with these predictions because 2012 seems to be an important year for certain people. Some people simply preach the 2012 thing because they dont like the way their life is going and want a miracle to happen, others preach maybe because they are true believers of Mckenna.

I am saying this because I think that at least one person will use the 2012 myth as their own springboard for personal evolution. I predict this because there are now many tools for personal growth that are avaliable to anyone - technological tools, literature, spiritual practices, etc. It's hard for me to define what I mean by intelligence, I guess I would say that everything in life is a key to infinity, so more intelligence would mean more realization of infinity.
