Fish Tank Heater...

What wattage fish tank heaters do you all use? And do you have a problem with it getting too hot up against the rubbermaid?

Im thinkin of buyin a 100w tommarow, unless you think i could get buy with a 50. Also gotta get a couple rubbermaids, there not gonna be too big, cause i only got 12 jars.

yeah go with the 100watt, you can always adjust the temperature and if you go with a bigger incubator, you wont need more power.

Hey, check out  this post by Magash.

This looks like a phat heater (you can adjust and read the temperature via an outside control module!)...I wish I had gotten one, and if I need another heater in the future, this will be it. Also, check on ebay (search for  "pro heat"), there are several on there, of various wattages, and they're not very expensive. And if Magash says it's cool, then it must be...

if not 150.
Cujo went with 50 his first time
and colinization was slow....

I have a 300 w but thats cause I have a 75 gallon ruubermaids tub in tub
