what size fish tank heater

im making a little incubator out of some standard size rubbermaide "tote" containers.. what wattache fish tank heater do i need?

A 100 watt fully submersible aquarium heater can get the job done.

But I suggest getting at least a 200 watt one if you live in a colder climate or if you have low heat in your house.

i'm getting by with 75 watt in a 30 gal tub, but it's a jagger .(top o the line) :smirk:

(top o the line)- yeah but it still gives 75w so will a cheap one.
i recommend a larger wattage if it is the same price or a little more, just be sure it will fit in your container. a higher wattage means it is on for less time so it will last longer. i can keep 50litres of water at 30C with 20watts (constant) in my room. id say a 10w heater is more than enough for most people who grow just a few. mine is 150w so it is off most of the time
