Here's a 14 inch HP laptop

looks good for $225

Keep in mind that the Acer only has a 16 GB SSD hard drive. It's less space than most mobile phones these days. It's essentially a big windows phone.

For 300 you could get something like this would be much better for daily usage:

For the same price range as the Acer, you could get something like this:

Maybe just hook a mouse into it to avoid that shitty track pad.


The Acer you posted is a shiny computer, but will likely be pretty disapointing. Buying a verified-refurbished laptop would be the better option imo.

I think everything i would need to save could go on those...

Right now i'm looking at laptops under $300

But if you know of one for $500... that's the max i would like to spend.

For that much you are probably better off getting a Razer blade.

Don't bother with a touchscreen laptop. They are bad for your back and pretty useless in most scenarios. Unless you do graphic art and are getting a surface pro or something, you have 0 need for a touchscreen.

This, I hear that it used to be some solid shit but the company got sold or something, idk I've never been interested in alienware.

Mac is a nice sleek all in one machine for people who want that sort of thing - I've bought used ones for cheap that I still have laying around.

Instead of spending 1500 - 2000 on alienware or a new macbook, I'd just get one of these for a little bit cheaper.

i didn't know it was touch screen

i just thought it looked cool and searched the name haven't looked at anything else about it...

someones selling it for $500 on amazon labeled as "used like new" i can't see a pic tho
