I know you know the answer to the reason why. The "gay community" is not all about being as promiscuous as possible any more than any other community or individuals therein. I have been in the gay community now for about 23 years since coming out at 28yo. There are some people straight, gay, trans, and whatever that just want to have sex with as many as possible.
There are also a great deal of gay people that frown upon promiscuity as much as any other person that frowns upon people that do that. Who cares how many people someone wants to have sex with? What is the big deal? This seems to be an issue for people that have been brainwashed by media/peers/family/friends that have perpetuated the idea that only monogamy is the "right" way to approach life. I feel like monogamy causes problems for a great number of people, but that is another thread entirely!  (I like you man, don't get me wrong)
The "marriage" is for partners that want to keep their property/money/inheritances/SS/etc. for their spouses. It allows them to have the partner/spouse close to them in a hospital should an accident/illness or anything else happens. Taxes, property ownership, businesses, etc...all these things are fucked right now for non married gay people! You know this! Everyone should know this!
Some may say "well if they are gay they are not equal and do not deserve these rights!" Well that is the main and only problem with this whole thing/issue!

You're just programmed by the media to act and think a certain way. There is no fear of God in the world.
We were made how we are. We were made either female or male, with a certain name. I just really think it's insecurity. Because I changed my eye color, I worked out, I wanted to change my nose. But that's bullcrap. I am perfectly okay with who I am right now. I don't need to change anything except my actions that impact others in a negative way in my life.
And one of these days if you don't go along with all this crap, you will be killed because you'll be considered as someone holding everyone else back. Kill me then.

Sure. Use your argument about things happening on the other side of the global where the nations are controlled by sharia law. Is that happening here in the US? I don't see any gays being put to death here. Instead I see pastors going to jail because they refuse to marry same sex couples. I see the supreme court making an illegal law of gay marriage nationwide. We have religious freedom. You liberals are the cancer to this society. Destroying the constitution to give more rights to the minority and less to the majority. The states should have ultimate say. This is a state issue. And GA and NC have every right to make laws against this because it protects our constitutional rights. I am a firm believer in that document and it's the only thing that gives us the ability to be free. Only reason we aren't in fema camps or the military is patrolling our streets like the Gestapo in germany is because we have the 2nd amendment.
Speaking out against gay marriage is being frowned upon and i'm guessing one of these days it will be illegal. Constitution was made of no effect after Bush took office and 9/11 happened then in a matter of weeks we had the patriot act pass through congress. People were afraid and wanted big brother save them. I was scared myself. I Was in middle school when it happened. I didn't know what I know now. Then after that the NDAA was passed.
The government is spying on everyone. There is no privacy anymore in our country. This gay marriage thing is apart of the "agenda" to completely destabilize this country, and bring about a one world system. Connect the dots and lines and you'll see it's leading up to total control over the world by the super rich.
For example. Our credit and debt cards now have "chips" in them. And now they are having to be inserted into a machine wherever you buy stuff. Those things are going to be put in our hands one day. It's clear as day we are living in the last days. People even on the news are saying it's scary how things are turning out. Even on CNN and FOX news that are controlled by the elite are saying these things. It's this dumbed down system in American, where everyone is obsessed with material things and instant gratification. Where everyone knows every football team and who plays on them instead of knowing our bill of rights and anything about world events. I have no hope for this world right now and it's only going to get worse.
Just wish people would wake up.
I am just going to very bluntly say you are a delusional idiot on the subject. Yes that is a very stupid thing for me to say without presenting a rational intelligent reply/counterpoint to what you stated here. But I am so tired of rationally explaining things to someone who is in the state of mind you are in on this subject. It is futile. Have fun with that!
