Nigger is not short for Black. Derived from negro, yes. But developed specifically as a slur.
Faggot is not short for Gay
Tranny is just a shortening of Transgender. A reasonable one to think.

Do some people use it as a slur? Ok.. but I really don't think most people use it maliciously.
People can use just about any word as a slur. I've been called hippie as a slur many times when I had long hair .. should we ban that word?
What about Jew? Calling someone a Jew can be a slur with the right intention. It's short for Jewish. Should be ban the word Jew because some people use it maliciously?


I see what you're saying, but to me it is moreso about basic respect and not calling someone something they don't want to be called than any hard rules about what words are offensive and what aren't.  Sometimes it might seem crazy to us what offends someone, but to me it seems so easy just to respect someone and call them what they want to be called. 

So much of the time these arguments of "oh it's just a word that is just the word I use I don't intend any harm" are used when in fact the person using these words does intend them as an attack on some level.  I like being edgy and I like free speech, but to me that does not preclude being considerate with my language when addressing someone who has shown me respect.

that isn't actually happening due to liberals. it's due to Christians.

no one should be put in jail for refusing to serve anyone -- a fine for discrimination, on your establishment, suffices as a punishment.

laws exist for a reason -- discrimination laws are no different. freedom of religion dictates that, in the public sphere, you have to adhere to a modicum of respect for other's beliefs (wait, the punchline is approaching), even if you outright hate them and speak ill towards them and their religion/beliefs, by at least not discriminating against them in terms of services and goods, because in a free country, you don't do that, that and no one wants to expel people from the marketplace due to their...hair color, or their insistence of the existence of Gods, or whatever the case may be...hell even if someone is stinking up your establishment with their colitis...WHAT the fuck are you gonna do about it?

He's not wrong about that though, and it has nothing to do with gay-hate. The globalists will exploit any group they can to make people fight each other, homosexuals have just been a convenient pawn. (personally I think for legal reasons there should be civil unions for everyone and if people want a religious Marriage that should be between them and their church)

here is the flaw: in 'civil union' you get none of the 'civil benefits' that "married" couples have, and since the only thing preventing equality in this area of 'civility' is purely the ceremony of the religion, and not the actual 'civilization' we partake in. so we should aim to correct that and stop putting Christians above everyone else, every other demographic, in the world erm i mean, country.

so, no, you don't have to "religiously marry" anyone outside of Christianity, or whatever...but we do have stop preventing couples from getting married in the same sense that everyone else gets civilly married, throughout the country; as opposed to just letting gays join in 'civil union', whilst missing out on all the security benefits that come with people being 'married'.

PS: if the gays are being used as pawns...WTF can they do about that? nothing. they can't aim to marginalize themselves. just try it for yourself...see if you can actively work against your own self-interest. let's just call it an experiment. film it for us to watch. it'll be entertaining.

Well I meant gay or straight, the religious concept of marriage should have nothing to do with the legal system. Civil unions for everyone.

oh i see what you're saying now. pretty much boils down to what i'm saying...fix it so that we all get the same kind of benefits as christians do when they marry.

their ceremony is just that...imagine...some people think it does something magically.

well here is some magic...no one who isn't christian wants the ceremony to be christian...they just want the benefits that christians get when they marry.

but yeah, i think we're pretty well on the same page.

And what gay guy wants to be married to the same person when the whole community is mostly about being as promiscuous as possible (source: know shittons of gay peoples). What's the ratio.. like 1 in 1,000?

thing is: christians (mainly in America -- but religions in general) create all the hypocrisy and hate that is thrown around -- thus creating an atmosphere where people are taken upon to fight back, because they are beset and accosted with laws, rules, and deviants, whom potentially want them dead.

but i had to say it that way, because it's the most relevant point.

i guess i'll try and put it another way:

we (people like myself -- yeah even people whom just don't give a fuck about nationality per se) want actual freedom as outlined in the constitution (your US constitution, of course...) -- the ne plus ultra of any law writ ever created, one that expounds freedom -- and that means as the US gets more secular...the religious are just going to have to fucking deal with it. :devil:

or else, they should, oh i dunno, go fucking live somewhere in a desert that's NOT in America.

I think heteros are equally promiscuous, but tend to be more inclined to hide their infidelity due to social stigma.

I'm with you on marriage being ridiculous in any case.  Marriage so often is not in reality what marriage proponents bill it as.  People act as if it significantly alters a person's relationship boundaries, but that stuff is so personal that it doesn't really fit into an institutional tradition.
