Dude, not to be a smart ass or anything but you do realize that you waited a total of 19 minutes before complaining that nobody answered your question? Also, if I see a post that has like three replies i'm figuring someone has answered the question already and I don't need to bother with it.

Perhaps a little patience would help?

Now, I'm no casing expert but I've read that what you are supposed to do (in order to have faster results) is cover your casings and put them in a dark warm place (same as incubation temps I believe) until you see the mycelium has worked it's way to the top of the casing layer. I am unsure as to whether you are supposed to mist during this procedure, I forget. Also, some may suggest you not cover completely to allow gas exchange. In that case you probably will have to mist. Once you see the mycelium, you uncover the casings, drop the temp, expose them to light, and reduce the humidity (by fanning them) so that pins will start to form. Once pins form you stop misting directly so you don't kill them. This whole process can take up to TWO WEEKS even with ideal conditions. Day five based on the info you gave is WAY too early to start worrying about nothing happening. Hopefully if I am incorrect about any of the above info others will drop by and correct me.
