Buying a blender this weekend, probably a Vitamix, any suggestions to get a different one?
    #22643421 -

I'm probably going with the 5200 Standard, and with a five-month interest plan from the website ($449 all at once) it's a solid deal. I know Blendtec is a popular one.

I want something that has versatility, and works, which the Vitamix has a great reputation for. It has a 7-year warranty, which my co-workers said they're awesome with (sending new parts and stuff). He said once he needed one after eleven or so years he sent it to the company and they gave him $75 off a new one.

I'm getting it to be healthier (getting a lot of greens and fruits in my diet), and also since I work full-time, I'd like to have days where I can make something quick and healthy before work for before I start my shift or during break or lunch. It'd also make things easier and fun.

So, I'm pretty set on the Vitamix, but it always helps to keep your options open, and I'm even keeping the option open for the $559 Professional Series 500 Vitamix.

Any help is appreciated!

I bought a refurbished blendtec total blender. It's pretty fucking bad ass and wasn't so expensive. It can blend anything easily. I can load a pound of coffee beans and it will turn it to dust.

There's nothing like a vita-mix. Ninjas are second hand.  I've had both.
