You are just looking for an excuse to bash people who have the convictions to make their voices heard. How many protests have YOU attended? Like even your stupid conservative causes like guns or hating Mexicans? Have you attended a single protest or are you just a keyboard warrior?
It's not a "liberal" thing, protesting, it's a freedom thing. You know damn well you can't do it in Saudi Arabia, but the flip side is why aren't YOU doing it in America? The answer for almost everyone, right or left, is laziness. They don't protest because they are fucking lazy.
I couldn't care less about vegans or their cause, but at least they got off their asses. Do you think the WW2 vets beat the nazis just so liberals could have free speech? Pretty sure they did it so everyone, even you, could make your voice heard. Too bad you have written off the freedom to protest as a liberal thing. I write you off as lazy.


I won't get into the controversial issues you bring up but to answer how many protests I've been to I'll answer, its a fair question. I'm not sure how many. When I was a child I attended abortion clinic protests fairly frequently, maybe every month or two for a few years. My mom took me to those. They really liked having children holding the protest signs. In my adult life I've been to two protests of my own free will which were both anti-war protests before the invasion of Iraq, one at a local university and the other was the big one in DC which me and friends drove to.

I watched that Vice episode on India's water issue. My God, man. I knew it was bad, but fuck. They got open sewers in town around the buildings...I mean there's moats (like a moat around a castle) of shit & urine around buildings. I can only imagine how those streets smell...yikes.

i love many aspects of the culture...but goddamn that place is mismanaged

I do too, TD82. I'm a big fan of the food (the family and I try to hit up an Indian place on the reg) , and my last job I had the pleasure of working along side a good number of Indian dudes & ladies, all of which were really great. So seeing that episode was eye opening. They shouldn't have to live like that...nobody should. That whole water situation over there is pretty fucking scary and alarming.
