I get a chuckle when I see liberals protesting things there's no hazard in protesting. Its like going to the shoe store to protest sweatshop labor in China. I've seen 3rd wave feminists protesting on campuses, etc. As if they were moral crusaders. But the ding dongs just want to get their jollies protesting.

If they want a moral crusade these farm protestors should go to the heart of Texas and protest at the gates of the ranches. Or the feminists should go to Saudi Arabia to protest treatment of women. They'll pay for it, sure, but the attention it will bring to their causes will at least be seen as couragous. It would make me stand up and say they've got guts instead of making me laugh at them for being spineless jelly fish.

Also a good point. Or you could channel your frustration into leading by example. Ie becoming the worlds best bodybuilder whilst vegan

loled at the best vegan bodybuilder bit

edit: let me be specific so i dont seem like so much of a giant dick I luagh for a couple of reasons. I've had this arguement with multiple friends who body build. We tested the who will make better gains on what diet. Vegan was a hard ass plateau for 1 kid and a 10 lb gain in bench press in a year.

the second reason is from all the research i have done the "impressive"(i will give them that by average skinny fat standards they are chiseled as all fuck)vegan athletes either never make it past fitness comp level which if thats your goal great, but it seems to be disproving that meat will build muscle faster which it will. or they were originally on a carnivorous diet and later switched to vegan after they have some "moral awakening" then start touting the program like all athletic gains were made on the diet alone. it's marketing and it's fucking genius

same as p90x. Buddy claimed that because of all the hype he'd get fucking jacked. More definition but zero size increase like he wanted. its an overhyped program.

easy trick they like to use is to take the before photo of a fit athlete and use it as the after photo and pay them to fatten up for the before photo and just lose it. Anyone who has had to make weight before should know this is an easy ass pay check.

Mixed diet of veggies and lean meats is healthiest. factory farming is bad yes tho I will agree I prefer to buy my shit free range/wild caught when i can.

:aweshit: apparently you've never heard the phrase "peaceful" or "non-violent" protest.  Seriously you can't be that unaware of the role of public demonstrations in terms of sociopolitical activism.

He never said to violently protest, he said they should sack and and go protest where it matters, like feminists protesting is saudi arabia instead of say malibu california where half have been handed black cards by men their entire lives, so oppressed. I think he was saying the protesters would just be met with violence.

Well I would advise Mr. Dee to stop being a hypocrite and go protest these protests that he has a problem with rather than complaining about it on the internet like a poosay.

I can't tell if it is a joke or not.  He actually thinks this is going to be practical or effective whatsoever?

Think globally, act locally homies.  At least those folks are out there contributing to something they believe in.  If you think you could do a better job, I encourage you to go become a protester.  If anyone thinks that that advice is practical or realistic in any way you're sorely mistaken.  There's something called being realistic that needs to come into play.

I'm not advocating violence. I'm pointing out that protesting something that has no hazard is not a hard thing to do. Its like going to a movie for them. Pointless entertainment. Even if they want a cause to fight for they have failed pretty hard.

Blacks in the 50's doing sit ins and getting dog bites and billy club beatings was a moral crusade. Those guys has some balls. Or feminists back in the teens who risked being committed to a lunatic asylum to burn a bra in public, those were some couragous broads.

These kids nowadays just say what do you want to do today? Should we go to a movie or the whole foods for a protest. Well brah it'll be more fun to mess with people at the grocery store...

Want to prove yourself and your moral crusade? Then go into the lions den! Walk barefoot into the fiery furnace! Prove yourself! Place yourself as a cog in the wheel of the machine and watch it grind to a halt as it crunches you. Thats something that might actually make a difference, and its not easy and it takes strong moral fiber, which these kids don't have a shred of.

Hey, I guess youre the expert on moral crusading, but grass roots activism isn't about getting hurt or being a tough guy, it is our legal right as Americans to peacably assemble and I think the kids who actually get out and try to raise awareness surrounding whatever are doing better than most.

I sort of disagree and agree with this

I think most people functioning on no animal protien or saturated fat is not a real possiblity. But I do find that for me personally, eating less protein kicked up my energy levels and gains. A medium/low protien, medium fat, and high carb diet keeps me at best recovery and energy. Different people function on different diets

You misread my post. I wasnt supporting the idea that a vegan could become the greatest bodybuilder ever. It is just that there is all this talk that vegans can build muscle. And the response is...stop talking shit and prove it. And its typically some twiggy ass kid who spouts that one can build muscle on a vegan diet while displaying who ability to do so themselves

Tldr; leading by example is the best as most arguements, ESP on the internet get nowhere. The only true way to show people what is right, or bring people to your cause is to lead by example

And I def did make some good gains as a vegan but I make better ones with some fish, eggs, and kefir

I'm all for the cause, but the protest makes me want to go to that store and buy a steak just to rub their smug little human faces in it.

If I lived in those sort of conditions I'd want to die.

But what of the flip side. Acting locally can mislead some stupid people man. I've seen feminists protesting against how women are treated in america. STOP THE OPPRESSION being chanted at business men going about their commute. I agree with dee for the most part, or at least there are better way to get the message across than  standing on a street corner chanting babble with a sign only the parent of a special needs child could be proud of. Doesnt raise much awareness just makes people point and laugh at the "dirty hippies"

I like this post man. You sumed up some shit my high ass couldnt at the moment. I do best with a variety of shit. And it makes sense appetite wise to me since im never hungry but im way more incline to eat if its not the same shit every meal. This morning was a PB and honey (acacia seeing if this allergy thing works) with whole grain bread 3 slices and a protein shake with whole milk and whey. Yesterday was a smoothie with kale and hemp protein just because it felt nice to have something different go in my body.

Fish ftw btw.

Who cares about animal cruelty when there is extreme prejudice against gay black muslim women?

Like seriously, even the shroomery is overpopulated with white straight males that it's sickening. There also needs to be more female moderators.

You should all feel guilty.
