This is why I don't go to music festivals. I imagine seeing cool people I want to meet everywhere and then being disappointed and disgusted when I smell them.

When I go to music festivals I see almost no one brush their teeth or shower. Its disgusting. Even if there aren't free showers I still shower out of a gallon jug or solar shower and people look at me like I'm crazy for showering. Sometimes If I'm out there long enough I will even shave.  I want to be healthy and I don't want to miss out on a cool friendship or opportunity because someone thinks I'm to greasy to be around. You guys need to brush your teeth.

I honestly don't see why you would want to be friends with someone who judges your hygiene to decide if they want to be friends at a music festival, of ALL places :lol:

if there is ever an appropriate time to be dirty, its at a 3 day music fest

I would want to be friends with them because they value hygiene. Its actually more like I don't want to start talking to someone and they're so disgusted with my breath that they just leave.  I've had to do that before and it isn't good for either party. I understand that it can be difficult to shower at a fest, but it is easy to brush your teeth and at least put on some deodorant if you aren't bathing everyday. When there are 30,000 people camping for 4 days and using porta potties without washing their hands or showering, everything gets disgusting fast. That is how plagues get started and that is why I keep clean when I'm there.

If i'm in a rush, yes.  If i'm going full clean i'll scrub myself down.  After a few weeks of not using the above products, your body re-regulates oil and sweat production.  It sounds crazy, but its true.

At 39 years of age I've finally got to the point where I can brush my teeth every day, recently sometimes even twice a day. I don't have many left. Johnny Rotten has an accurate account of the pain and sickness that results from not brushing teeth in his latest book. Highly possible that allot of my low energy and depression is from the state of my teeth. I can't afford to get them fixed.

Ps my dentist told me gum erosion is a result of pressing your toothbrush too hard, if your finding them eroding/receding brush more softly

Here it is. I've actually said this before on here a few times, but I don't wipe my ass after I shit.

Unless it's like diarrhea or there's a dingleberry or something. Usually my shit is so solid that it just comes out, and then I take a shower right after in lieu of the wipe.

Most of the time wiping is completely unnecessary if you have a healthy shit.

Generally any healthy diet will lead to a healthy shit as long as you don't have serious health problems.

But it is a pretty good idea for a write-up and series of DVDs.

I once didn't have hot water in my house for a whole year. During winter when it was cold I only showered like once every 3 - 4 weeks haha. It was fucking cold and the frozen shower hurt bad. I was also single and avoided people.

i still recommend everyone get a waterpick, after brushing and flossing, i can go and use that waterpick and chunks of food come flooding out.  I don't have the willpower to waterpick everyday but whenever my teeth hurt i use it, and then right away the pain is gone, really is an amazing thing to have.

I'm still suffering the effects of not having great oral hygiene as a teenager. Sensitive teeth. Receding gum line. Stains. That shits permenant, my good hygiene now doesn't fix my problems caused from years ago. I wish I could tell my younger self to smarten up.
