Five grand in dental work

I need four two surface fillings, four three surface fillings, four four surface fillings. One root canal, two crowns. And the possibility of one more root canal and crown. $4765, assuming all work is resin and not amalgam.
Can I sue Pepsi for allowing me to purchase their product? you know, just like how smokers sued phillip morris?

I wouldn't be so sure if I were you. I knew about the crown and the canal. Everything else was news to me and I just had a cleaning 8mo ago.

I've never experienced sensitivity with a cavity.
An abscess can hurt like hell, debilitating pain, if the nerve isn't already dead.

That really sucks.
I'd just like to add that my work has recently upgraded our insurance, and all orthodontia and dental work is now covered at 100% @ no cost.

why do you think that a dentist office always wants to know if you have insurance right away? they jack up their prices if you do so that they can squeeze every dollar out of you.

That sucks. I gut lucky, I went to the dentist for the first time in five and a half years a weak ago. I came out of it with just a lecture about how i should brush more(true), and sore gums because they did an ungodly amount of scrapping, but that's my own damn fault.

I probably need about 5 grand in dental work too. But It's not gonna happen unless I find a job that pays for like, 100% of my dental work.
Stupid fucking wisdom teeth. I waited too long to get them taken out and they fucked up a bunch of my other teeth. Now I have a hole where one of my molars should be, a cracked molar on the other side, and two cracked upper teeth. Shit is not going to be cheap to fix.
Or I could just be like, fuck it. And be one of those fucked up teeth people.

out of me, personally, or my insurance company?
If I remember correctly I just pay a copay for the visit... then I have to pay $500 for any procedures and insurance picks up the rest.
However, I am eligible for Native American services, so if I go to the dentist and they say I need a root canal, I'll schedule it with IHS and get it done for absolutely nothing.

I investigated getting new dental insurance, because my current insurance is through my mothers employer.
I found health insurance from Aetna and it's only $25/mo on top of the health insurance premium, but they insist on a six month wait for fillings and 12 months for major work such as root canals or crowns. That's unacceptable.
Also, you may think your dental is untouchable, but only up to a certain amount. I'm pretty sure that one root canal($750) and one crown ($900) would bring me over this limit. But two cleanings and one full set of xrays are covered regardless of what reconstruction you need.
