god is on my side. its obvious to me from the fact that i have never known hunger, poverty or true loss. Hes definetly on my side, after all i was born to two rich white people in canada. Its the blacks and the africans he hates.

Annnnnnd I had a light saber and my friend was there and I said "you look like an indian" and he said "you look like satan" and he found a stick and a rock and he named the rock ooga booga and he named the stick Stick and we both thought that was pretty funny. We got eaten alive by mosquitos but didn't notice til the next day. I stepped on some glass while wading in the swamp and cut my foot open, didn't bother me til the next day either....yeah it was a good time, ended the night by buying some liquor for minors and drinking nips and going to he diner and eating chicken fingers, and then I went home and went to bed.

please dont think im actually racist here tho. what im drawing attention to (maybe) is that for every person god makes wealthy theres a million that he shits on. In fact i think it was this that made me lose my belief in god (as i originally concieved him, that is as a loving father figure) . i think its interesting that belief in some god can be so strong in the most unfortunate people in the world and so absent among the most lucky. Why would god choose a side? either he wouldnt (that is he doesnt exist in that sense at all) or else hes such a fucking bastard that he is worthy of nothing but our hate. After all we sentance someone to life in jail for killing one person, but isnt it god who kills EVERY person? either god intentionally created suffering as part of his plan, and is therefore the father of all that is awful and ugly, or else he really does love us and yet is unable to help all those who suffer, in which case he is not all powerfull at all, and if it is satan who causes all the suffering and god all the good, id say it is satan who is the stronger of the two.

(this is all academic as this kind of dualistic/monotheistic religious view long ago stopped holding any truth for me)

I don't understand how that video/speech shows that God is not on someone's side. But I can be dense like that.

I also don't think God necessarily chooses sides for reasons of race, etc.

On a personal note, I think God loves me and is on my side.

I dunno about that. Reading the Old Testament gives me the distinct impression that God is on the side of the Israelites. Interesting, since they were also the ones who wrote that book. Gee, that book couldn't be biased, could it?
