just a thought on past present and future using theories of the holographic paradigm.....
\space and time and causality are seen as self-organizing internial structures that create the way in which we experience the world around us. in the paradigm, there is no actual seperation between whats inside of us and what is outside. therefore space and time must be an illusion, the only moment that there is, is now.

time is a concept, something made up to organize and relate to. Now is an instant, an infinitely small time period. If you believe in fate, you have to believe in other periods other than now.

exactly, now is forever, impermanent, all things already rest

I've never read anything about the holographic paradigm so maybe you can help me. What is the definition of humanity within this theory? I would agree with your statement if you mean that mankind is spirit incarnate within matter, it seems to me that spirit or consciousness apart from matter would be structured under different principles but within matter space, time, and causality are existent principles and not illusions, they are there but not understood completely. Mankind can experience the timeless moment of pure consciousness as a thread that runs through all matter but to live in that moment permanently you would have to lose the body ultimately, matter is the separation point. Would you agree with this? If not let me know what I'm missing.
