Genuine Dexamphetamine Prescription.

So I want to go to the docs about having ADD. The thing is I have self-medicated with dexamphetamines as a recommendation from a friend. I simply had half a pill in the mornings before needing to do things such as studying, cleaning and other general things that take up concentration and attention. I'm amazed at how much of a help it was. I finally felt like how normal people must feel every day. As in they can actually get useful things done when they need to.

So basically, I want to talk to a doctor about the possibility that I may actually have ADD, given that I fit all of the general symptoms. I'm intelligent yet have left uni 4 times because I can't concentrate on assignments. I get distracted with any important things I need to do at home and can't seem to focus on conversations with people for more than a minute or two. I can't seem to succeed in the workplace. I'm regularly described as 'off with the fairies'. It's just how I've always been and it's really impacting me as an adult now.

But I'm wondering about how honest I can be with my doctor? Can I tell them straight up that I've self-medicated with dexamphetamines and about how they worked so well? I just know that with all the stigma around this medication (Eg.Party drug) that it could be strange to walk straight up and tell them that I want a prescription and to be diagnosed with ADD. I just don't want to beat around the bush and have them prescribe me something else or nothing at all.

I'm currently studying again and REALLY want to finish. It's only a 1 year course that will guarantee a career. I'm just tired of the same repeat of falling behind in studies and can see this happening again now.

I find honesty is the best policy; for the most part.  Do you genuinely think you need an RX or are you using it to get high? I mention this for two reasons: first off they most likely are going to piss test you and I don't need any bad karma. 

I would ask for Adderall, mention your diagnosis and tell them you were on Ritalin and what not in the past.  This drug can be very beneficial and I have seen it surface and augment serious mental health problems in many people. 

It's also addictive as Fuck, you aren't going to get the DT's but you will not want to do shit or even get out of bed if you run out.

Have you tried eating right, getting a full 8 hours of sleep and moderating your social activities.  Do you smoke pot? If so how much?  Some people can puff like a champ and get straight A's in difficult courses, others only benefit from relaxation and heightened creativity.  I personally can't smoke on a regular basis or else I'm a complete moron.  When I was younger I loved getting 100% Sativa strains as they are more uplifting; either way if you piss has THC in it... Getting prescribed a C2 for concentration... Um.... Yea I would have to say most likely not.

I have bad anxiety; when I was 17 my friend started selling Xanax; it changed my life in an excellent way... At least for a while.  I continued to buy it and take more for two years and then he decided not to sell it to me; just like that.  He was and is a condescending hypocritical ass and that's me being nice(he was ignorant but he's still is a fucking moron).

Long story short after about 3 day's of trying everything I ended up in the ER and I wasn't honest & I should have been; Alcohol and benzodiazepines are about the only two things you can die coming off of.  I eventually got a legit script and I continued to take too much.  Then one day I got sick of the BS and chasing other demons I began getting my shit together.  I realized if I have more than a couple of drinks I get anxiety when it leaves my system. It took lots of heavy drinking and a severe panic attack after a hairy night for me to connect the dots. 

I no longer abuse benzos and I'm on a low does of Klonopin; honestly Xanax only makes chronic anxiety worse.  It really should only be used for periodic attacks and things of that nature.

You have to make your own decisions and I don't know if it would benefit you or not. When it comes to prescriptions you need to be careful.  All I can say is I'm completely honest with my Dr's these days and I no longer take new drugs that hit the market unless my life depends on it.

I hope this helps, also on a side note some Dr's just have their heads up an agenda's A-Hole.
