Music in the good old days

Lets start with Lead guitar players, I'm not looking for a top ten list or anything like that. Lets not talk about Jerry cause he was more of a gift from god than a guitar player! Lets not talk about Hendrix or Clapton either, I love them both but,

who were the guys that made you happy, played fun music, party music!

I'll give a few examples of the lead guitar players that I loved.

From "Ten Years After" ...Alvin Lee....my god was he fast and great!

From "Quicksilver Messenger Service" .....John Cipollina...what an under-rated musician!

From " The J Giles Band"....Jerome Geils....So much fun! Great party music!

From "The Band" ...Robbie Robertson...nuf said! :cool:

...such great songs!

just a few more ....Richard Betts, Toy Caldwell, Duane Allman, Steve Howe,

these guys made my early trips very special!
