Table sugar liquid medium

may I use just plain table sugar to do a honey tek? it works or has to be dextrose or real honey?

Table sugar should work -- maybe not as well, though. Karo and honey have other stuff in them in addition to dextrose.

you're not the first one to try that, you can give it a shot. altough I read something bad about sugar, "honey and dex are far better". if I were you I'd buy some honey before trying it with the sugar, remember the 2 main enemies of the mycologists: contams and rush :wink:

...and I bet The Shroomery site has an answer to your doubt, look further...
