Liquid medium, serilization in the oven?

All right I'm trying to play around with agar and liquid midiums to grow batches of myc. My problem is i have a small PC and cant quite fit qt jars in an upright possition.... this is fine for my grains I just PC them laying on thier side.
Can I put my jars in the oven @ 200 for 30-60 min or so to sterilize? I use oven tec to serilize and pasturize my casing and buld substraits mixutures and have had great results.
Now i know moisture loss is a issue so i figure i can put the jars in a oven bag with water in the bottom and sealed. keeps my chicken from drying out. Think this might work? any input would be greatly apreciated.

one problem is it takes the medium much longer to heat to the 200 degrees than if it where in a pressure cooker. If you do do it this way spray the oven sterile. I have used a microwave with good sucess in the past for LC i usually did 7 min stop wait 2 repeat 3-4 times

Depending on whether your jar lids are metal or plastic and the size of your microwave, you might be able to do what this tek http://www.shroomery.org/index.php/par/24254 advises, and sterilize your jars and medium using the microwave, as quoted below.

"Karo sterilization:

Note: Clean the microwave out. Clean it as well as possible with bleach.

Place the jar into your microwave. Set the heat setting on high. Cook it for 1 minute. Wait 5 minutes and cook for another minute. CAUTION THE JAR WILL BE HOT! Leave it in the Microwave over night. This will keep it clean as it cools. "
