Urgent Need to know if I can still use my jars of mycellium
    #2217618 - 01/04/04 02:15 AM (12 years, 10 months ago)

I have some jars that are full of mycellium and are ready to be put in the fruiting chamber. However, I was in the middle of a move and the jars have been ready for a few weeks and just sitting at room temperature. I read the tek and am wondering if they will still grow since they've been ready for a while and just sittng at room temperature or if I should just throw them out and try again. Any help would be greatly apreciated as this is my first grow. Thanks

never hurts to try...chances are good that you'll still get a decent flush...maybe dunk them to rehydrate, as sitting could have dried them out a little.

I haven't even cracked the jars open so would I just take the cake out dunk it in water and that's fine, won't hurt them at all? Also, how clean an enviroment should I be concerned about when I put them in the fruiting chamber? Thanks again

let them sit in water over night in the fridge. Lysol the inside of the fruiting chamber and you should be good to.
