Portland is pretty cool. It's like a miniature Seattle. I haven't really ever checked out Central or Southern Oregon even though I was born and raised in the pacific north west.

Bend is expensive? I always thought it was one of the cheaper places for Oregon.. basically only Medford and a few podunk places out east seem cheaper

I agree, it's a pretty spendy place to live. But if she can manage, she'll reside in quite the town:thumbup:

I'm guessing its the cliche asshole answer people sometimes give when they hear someone wants to move to "their" city. I've been in Berlin 6 years now, and I spit upon those people who only been here 4 years.
