Attitude
    #2213318 -

Come on now, what attitude do you take? Do you hold a different attitude in different situations? Around different people? Listening to different music?

Hours ago I was almost dying. I felt burnt out, I had did all I could to some songs I was working on, I played as much bass as I could, and there was nothing to do...

Right now? It is hours later, but I am now swinging around with the music (Infected Mushroom, of course), actually putting focus towards making a post on here, and eating some chips.

How you look at life is going to determine what you get out of it. Some people go to church and dread every minute of it, some people hold every minute as holy and as a direct interaction with God and cherish every minute of it.

I know I've made posts like this before, but I really feel it is important that we keep an interest in what we are doing and find enjoyment in it.. nothing is boring. I mean, we all have our down days, but if you aren't getting enjoyment out of life, then why are you here?

Anyways, I'm just having trouble recalling the topics that I really wanted to post about, so I am just rehashing old stuff... I'll start digging in my head again, and come up with something better.  :nut:
Peace.

Insert an "I think" mentally in front of eveything I say that seems sketchy, because I certainly don't KNOW much. Also; feel free to yell at me.

I probably hold the same "Pollyanna-ish" attitude for everything I do. And when I feel down, I just fake it. But it doesn't take much to make me happy. Starbucks and some conversation usually does it.

Froggy, with the outrageous prices at Starbucks, I would NOT be so happy :smirk: unless of course, I wasnt paying for anything and thus not getting ripped. off.

But anyhoo, in regards to life, in general I've always held the view in conjunction with my attitude that life is BEAUTIFUL--much of which I'm aware I can thank Hawaii for, being that's the island I was born and raised in for 7 years. Environmental factors has tremendous significant influence in determining how your personality will be shaped, and so on.
People always tell me I'm really laid-back and chill, fun, and have an intrinsically beautiful personality. And it was only recently that I've heard from people who've just recently visited Hawaii, and they all say alotta shit about it like "oh it's beautiful and all, but gosh, it gets so boring after a while, and the people are way too laid-back, and everything"
lol, well, it just so happens that I'm rarely ever bored, and I've learnd that this is primarily due to the fact I was born and raised in a place that teaches you how to enjoy yourself even when there's nothing to do in particular. Hawaii is also a wonderful example, (out of very many) of Beauty in life. It possesses very much intrinsic natural beauty; and if you realize that every natural fact is symbolic of a spiritual fact...then you can see the fortunate spiritual value one can gain if lived in harmony within the environmental surroundings.

:wtf:

Tell someone digging their family out of rubble in Iran about how you were almost dying.  How about some word sensitivity...

Aren't things relative?  Can we not complain about anything, just because we aren't in Iraq or Iran?  I mean, I suppose it's good to keep things in perspective, but can't we ever complain just a little?

I wanted to bitch about losing my home once, on a different BBS, and a woman brought up how she had no legs.  Now, I'm really effing sorry that she has no legs, but couldn't I complain, or feel sorry for myself, just a little?

Of course, if fireworks_god is comparing his plight to that of an Iranian family, then yes, he should be dragged out to the fjord and shot, but he's just whining.  (Aren't you just whining, fireworks?)  (I think the correct answer is "yes". :eyemouth:)

I here what you are saying.

However, I have a pet peeve for complainers. THE PEOPLE WHO HAVE SOMETHING TO COMPLAIN ABOUT DO NOT COMPLAIN. The people that do complain are the people you see in line at seven eleven...

Person behind me:

Does this line ever move...this is the worst thing in the world. They get these assholes right out of High School and don't train them, and then shit gets backed up like this. I can't believe this, it's the worst thing I have ever seen!!! This is America buddy, I shouldn't have to wait like this to buy cigarettes and lottery tickets!

It's not game, it's being mindful of things you say and how they will be perceived.

Well, if I truly was dying, I probably wouldn't be posting. When you feel like the minute won't pass, because you are just so burning up and so tired, well, then, using the word "I felt like I am dying" is justified. It isn't like I was rubbing something in any dying person's face. It wasn't as if I had any bad intentions. I was just being (somewhat) descriptive. I wasn't complaining, either.

If anyone took offense by what I said, they can suck my dick.
:smirk:

Peace.

Actually, my dick is sort of booked for a few months, there are a lot of dying people who have their last wish and everything, and I can't let their dreams die before they do.

Hehe, I'm sorry, but I couldn't help it...

*retracts statement completely*
Peace.
