How many people here have been to Amsterdam, in Holland/The Netherlands?



How many would like to go?

Did you have a great time? What did you do there?

I recently got back from a week long trip to Amsterdam with my wife. We started in Berlin, passed through Italy, traveled for a week in Switzerland then spent a week in Amsterdam, with a day trip to Belgium.




I had an even better time then I expected. I loved it.

Everyone bikes there, the roads are almost devoid of cars in many places and  this leads to a laid back, relaxed atmosphere, a peaceful, quiet city and clean air.

The city was charming with its canals and tons of unique little shops and cool buildings and lively street life.

Renting a bike and exploring the city by bicycle was lovely and highly recommended.

We loved shopping for red wine, delicious fancy meats and cheeses, and more.

Of course, we loved the coffeeshops, where we could stop in and buy from large menus of quality cannabis, hash and edibles, and you can sit and sip a coffee or a beer while you smoke joints and listen to music.


We also loved the smart shops, where we loaded up on kratom, coca products, herbal party pills and psilocybin truffles/ magic mushroom mycelium balls, which are cool looking, and actually taste good!

We went out dancing at crazy clubs on about four nights, including "cheeky Mondays" Monday dance party in the Red light district, and an electronic music festival I went to while tripping out on truffles.

We had an amazing time. We browsed the red light district a few times, where the red lights illuminate windows where sex workers in underwear await your custom.

We met lots of fun and cool and interesting people, and spend late nights chilling at Kashmir coffee shop and lounge listening to awesome music and tripping on truffles while smoking spliffs.

We ate lots of good food, and went to the amazing nude beach close to Amsterdam. We also went to Belgium on a daytrip and ate waffles and mussles and bought chocolate.



I bought and enjoyed coca leaf snuss (little pouches that fit in your cheek) as well as made our own coca wine by soaking dry coca leaves in red wine for a day and drinking it, as well as coca tea.

There were many other interesting herbal products available that I would have liked to try but didn't , such as kanna and Harmalas.

They also sell mescaline cactuses and many other cool products.

Marijuana, hash, mushrooms (truffles), coca and prostitution are all basically legal in the appropriate places.

We had a really amazing time and I would recommend it to anyone.



We also spend two days at the lovely Vondel Park, there largest green space which is beautiful and always packed with people.

Things to do in Amsterdam:

Take truffles and go to a music festival
Party and browse in the red light district
Smoke hash and weed in the Coffeeshops at night while listening to music
Start your day with a "Space Muffin" and a coffee and a spliff!
Go shopping in the craft stores and buy lovely cheese, bread and meat and cook yourself a delicious home meal
Go on a day trip to a neighbouring country
Make a day trip to the nude beach and order a meal and drinks and eat all while naked at the Adam and Eve nude restaurant and bar

And much more...

Pretty much the same like you but I tend to seek out a lot of parties in the area.

We went to the red light district and looked around a few nights, and came close to doing it but at the last minute we backed out. We weren't quite feeling it. We almost did it with one girl but she had a facial piercing which is a huge turn off for me. Then we were going to go back to the redlight district on our last night but we ended up doing mushrooms and going to a crazy electronic music festival instead, which was incredibly fun.

So we checked out the redlight a few times but never quite found the right girl/were in the right mood.

I guess im really picky but I didn't see many that I thought were really hot. Probably if we went on friday we would have found one but we were having so much fun partying, we went back to our apartment for a drink and a bite to eat then passed out.

Trip was amazing but we never went through with the threesomes, which I feel ok about.

I went to Amsterdam to pick up some new shoes a few months back. Thought it was super busy with tourists.

I dont really go there unless I absolutely have to

I'm going to Amsterdam next summer for honeymoon. Only staying a couple days there because we're also going to Paris, Belgium, and maybe Rome. Not exactly sure what countries yet but Amsterdam and Paris definitely make the list.

Yeah, I've heard Paris is super romantic. That's what a honeymoon is really about. We'll party it up in Amsterdam for a couple nights though to celebrate.
