Being a nice guy doesn't mean you should let yourself get walked all over. Quite frankly, your outburst surprised me, cause I haven't seen you that angry.
I used to be the kind of guy you can just walk all over - sometimes I still am, but nowadays I don't take as much shit as I used to. If I feel mistreated, or someone pisses me off, I'll let them know. It actually surprised my friends when they saw me REALLY angry. It's kinda scary because I'm never usually that angry.
So, next time someone pisses you off, don't blame yourself. It's not your fault they're being a cunt. :wink:

I know, sheepish, and when I look back, I always realize this, but I have so few friends, that it always seems important that I try to be calm, and cool, because I don't want to lose any more of my friends.. at the moment, I never think that it could be anything other than my fault, every time.

I know being nice does not equate to letting people walk over me, but it just happens to be something that I haven't been able to help as of yet.

As for speaking up, if they are really your friends, they aren't gonna bail on you cuz you say something in a negative way. People fight. Friends are people who are there thru thick and thin.

That hasn't been the case for me. I always seem to lose my friends. Besids you, I have a whole two other friends, one of which, my best friend Dave, I believe doesn't really want to hang around me anymore, because he doesn't approve of what I do on the weekends, now.

I've been through periods where I haven't had any friends at all, and I never want that to happen again. I'm surprised I made it through those periods, actually..

come on now man. it sounds like you need a reminder, or maybe even a first time realization, of what it is you live for.

the bottom line comes down to the fact that you are here to live. if you where not, you wouldn't have been put here. eventualy you will die, and whether there is another world after this one or not, there is a legacy behuind you shown in the lives of everyone you have known. this is real. we know because we have kno9wn people who have changed us in some way.

if you don't care much for these people, some of whom you may not even know now, they can and have been bettered in some way. why not live your life in a way that helps you to be happy. if you do, you will continue to help others aswell.

i know how you feel. try not to overthink it too much. it's hard, but i know you can do it.

doing what makes you feel better, honestly and not just in a gratificational manner, is the kind of thing you can loose sight of. you will figure it out. in the mean time, stick with stubbornness to get through it. it can work for you :smile:.

This dilemma puzzled me for awhile. Then I realized I'd rather be alone than hang out with assholes.

C'mon man, you want something better than what you see. When you look back on yourself, are you gonna want to say "Oh, hey I was hanging out with people." or, "Hey, I stuck up for myself and followed my gut"

Don't take shit from people and don't waste your time with people who aren't really your friends.

Why am I so angry? I think my initial post explains that. What does that have to do with taking E? I won't let a drug control my life. Just because E makes me happy when I take it, doesn't mean that I will be happy all of the time. It's an artificial happiness, and I know it has no meaning other than a chemical alteration of my brain.

Don't let my anger worry you, I will find a very good outlet for it, very soon. There's obviously nothing holding me back.
