Real raves seem dead. Like the ones they held in warehouses, national forests, and other random locations that were totally unpermitted and usually ended by getting shut down.

Yeah but shows aren't raves. Real raves peaked before many people who call concerts raves these days were even born.

Raves were full of more friendly interactive people too. I think it really is important to distinguish. Most concerts people go with their friends and don't talk to strangers or try to make friends and form community. Raves were like 14 hour festivals.

For real I meet immense amounts of strangers at desert raves. One of my favorite parts of the whole expirience.

yeah i dunno, i don't go to many edm shows but the fests i go to that are partially edm it seems like the edm crowd is a community there too

There's this one 4 day rave coming up where they're spending shit tons of money to recreate The Mad Max :Fury road movie. They have semis,people are trickin out their cars to make it have a mad max vibe. People are stocking up on chrome paint. I heard no one is allowed to get in without a costume. It sounds fucking crazy.
