People who don't shut up about it get on my nerves.
Unless we're in a circle of martial artists.
Otherwise, it seems too much like bragging.

Sometimes they have nothing else to talk about.
Lots of people don't have hobbies, so kudos to the people who can at least have passion for one thing.
My problem is I devote too little of time into too many things.


A lot of times I will make a brief mention of Kung Fu, and friends I have known for quite some time will be shocked that I didn't previously mention it.
It's not something that really needs to be known. In certain settings I will make a point to not mention it because then roided out dudes will want to spar when I have no interest in getting physical.

Though most Taoist forms of Kung Fu look nothing like a practical martial art.

I do DDP YOGA. It's a mixture of yoga and dynamic resistance. I've had the DVDs almost a year, there's five discs. I only gotten to do all the exercises on disc one a little over a week ago (I should be further than that, being busy a lot isn't an excuse). The first disc is still intense. The next levels will probably get crazy.

I eventually want to also lift weights, but I want to be at least very good with yoga without weights before adding them. Bodyweight exercises, stretching, breathing, etc. will help a lot with lifting weights.
