Oh that's a checkmate for sure. Tell him you're gonna keep doing it too. He can't divorce his wife or even tell her he knows. He just has to accept the fact that you're banging his wife regularly.. Damn if I wasn't married, I'd be heading to the nearest catholic church right now..

That is for the eastern churches or the Byzantine Church. It falls on their tradition which is smaller and different from the Latin Churches

Wikipedia says

"Exceptions to the rule of celibacy for priests of the Latin Church are sometimes granted by authority of the Pope, when married Protestant clergy become Catholic."

So in theory some could be married.

There is no mention if he is in communion with Rome, there are LOTS of catholic churches that claim the title but are not in line with Rome. It's possible for a Catholic Priest in communion with Rome to be married, I acknowledge  this but it is by no means the norm. Please don't confuse yourself with a few outliar cases and Google searches

Excommunication, loss of pay and health coverage, lack of support from the entire Church, AND the Holy spirit protects confessor from spewing. The latter is the key thing preventing them. Other catholic  churches outside of communion with Rome don't practice the same faith. Confession is a sacrament. One of the direct ways we can see, feel, and experiance God on earth. Holy Orders is another sacrament which differentiates those outside of Rome. Only sacrament which can be performed outside the Churches authority is baptism. YOU could baptise a willing person with your spit in a time of crises.
