I had respect for minorities, but there really aren't enough of them for that sort of thing.

They're like mold colonies, they look small until you zoom in.
Then you realize they contain the whole world.

has anyone ever wondered how many people there are around the world that are nearly identical to you?
theres 6 billion (more now? i havent looked this up in a while) people on earth so surely someone somewhere is damn near identical to you. maybe not in physical appearance, but in ideology and mannerisms.
id like to meet myself one day.

I've met TONS of people that have similar mannerisms, speach patterns, and facial structure of other people I've met, and it always trips me out.
The question is, would you really recognize your double? It might be too natural and you dont really know...

now that i think about it, i have noticed/met many people who act/look very similar to people i used to know.
what if theyre all just actors, who have aged similarly to the way i have, only they are now playing different roles in the movie of my life. what if this is all "the truman show" .... but for real....

For me I have a tendency to think that the world revolves around me. Not in the egotistical sense but in a way that things that happen outside my sphere of influence and knowledge just don't exist or happen or have taken place. An example, Would be that I never heard of bass nectar til I walked in my favorite smoke shop to pick out some pipe tobacco. After I heard of that name I saw a post about it somewhere on this forum.
Theres been multiple occurrences of this that have made me, in the past, think that things happened because I was aware of them. Another good example was with the word "ubiquitous." I had read the word somewhere and from that point my electronics teacher started using the word a lot! There's plenty of more examples but those are the simplest. So basically I felt like my life was like the Truman show or something. I don't Know how else to explain it haha but that's it. (I'm so completely sober but wish I wasnt....fuck trying to finish my degree and the knowledge of having to take hair tests!)
--------------------
...to have some fun? Nobody knows Anything I say or talk about is strictly for my own search of knowledge and to satisfy my thirst of curiosity.

i feel the exact way sometimes, almost to the point that it creeps me out when shit like that happens.
but i attribute it to the fact that once you know of something and can connect it to previous uses or experiences of it, you begin to notice that thing a lot more. like the kronos quartet (one example of this happening to me). i began listening to amon tobin and one of his songs is "Bloodstone (feat. Kronos Quartet)" and after that i noticed a poster in my town advertising some show and the kronos quartet was going to be there.
sometimes i cant do that though, and it really bugs me out. like, the thing will come up in an aspect of life that is completely outside of "my sphere" and it just seems oddly coincidental.

Deepak Chopra actually has a pretty good book on the subject.
He says it's glimpses of that deeper aspect of the universe where everything his occuring at once
