I have a confession

I sleep with a nightlight :pokerawe:

I don't know how this happened. It started with x mas lights in the room to look cool.

It evolved to catholic candles lit to set the ambience towards inducing sleep

...then I realized I dream often and would sometimes have nightmares so would always have a candle lit.

......then realizing that it's probably dangerous to sleep with candles lit, I bought a nightlight

A 23 yr old grown ass man with a nightlight

I usually go to sleep watching something bland and inoffensive. Seems like a similar principle to me. :shrug:

I make sure to leave my computer monitor on for the same reason, I often have night terrors and waking up to a pitch black room doesn't make it any easier. (I've also been working graveyard shift for the past 5 years os i've gotten used to having a bit of light when I sleep...

For the night is dark and full of terrors!

Going to sleep in pitch black dark is ok. But waking up when it's that dark from a nightmare is scary as fuck

I can't sleep at fuckin' all except in a dark void.

I have to throw a shirt over the dim, white light that shows my labtop is charged in, in order to have a shot at sleep.

I just stay awake til I'm too tired to care about the lighting situation, and I just ptfo.

But with all the chargers and electronics and whatnay, I'm sure you could find a wall charger for your phone that has a little LED on it and that was you would feel less lame?

I usually always leave a light on somewhere not far from my room.. It's just good to know there's light somewhere if you need it in the middle of the night :shrug:

I have one of those blue led snake lights wrapped tightly around the top of my back bed frame--but my cat sleeps on my bed with me and I used to have problems rolling over on him and kicking him off. Though Im not sure if sleeping with a cat makes my nightlight situation better or worse. Meh, chicks think its cute so Im not stressing over it. And now I have the awesomeNess of seeing in the dark (and not killing my kittycat)

most people have night lights especially in hallways and bath rooms, it makes it convenient when you wake up in the middle of the night. and depending on the light its doesn't use much energy anyway, its not as gay as clap on lights.

but yea i have to say its kind of sad that you get nightmares if you don't have a light one lol, but everyone has their ticks...
