What to do with spent nitrous chargers?

Anyone have an advice on what to do with spent nitrous chargers? I have probably 80-90 pounds worth of spent chargers and it seems like it would be a waste to just throw them away. Any ideas.

Sell them to one of those places that pay you for metal.

Its been a while since I had one in my hand, but iirc its nothing but aluminum... Recycle just like all your other aluminums.

8 gram chargers fit a standard dispenser. I will look into selling them as scrap. Also had an idea pop in my head that maybe an art school could use them for something.

but yeah i would say recycle or artwork.  my bud makes stick figures out of spent lighters and super glue

Go up to payphone in duster and sunglasses.
Place explosive black powder nitrous charger.
Put the fuse in to half of a cigarette, light the cigarette.
Walk away as the payphone explodes behind you like a badass. Slow motion preferred.
Run back and collect change.

They did back when I did this. of course that was back in 1988-89

cellphones have killed the payphone nowadays.  but they are still around.

I was going to say get some cannon fuse...Fill with gun powder and light.  They make a pretty big boom.

Nitrous charges are NOT made from aluminum and they are worth next to nothing if you try to recycle them.

Years ago I saved up all my spent chargers hoping to recycle them for $$$, but when I found out they weren't worth anything I ended up throwing them in a dumpster. :shrug:

They are made of galvanized steel.

LOL robmarley, I have rubbermaid containers that look like your boxes. They are worth nothing huh? Bummer, I guess I will call the company I got them from and see if they are willing to give me anything for them. If not, I guess I will just toss em.
