This brings to mind the saying "casting pearls before swine" or giving info to people incapable of understanding it. Its ok, zappa, we understand. You think making some faint criticism invalidates the info and makes it go away. Its your version of the liberal sneer.

For your information, the first link has additional related material but you only scanned the first part and then triumphantly announced "that's all there is" like you refuted it or something. (not refruited). In the second link, that was only the abstract of the full article. Look up "abstract" and maybe you will understand.

“A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves largesse from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most benefits from the public treasury with the result that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy, always followed by a dictatorship.” (attributed to Alexis de Tocqueville political philosopher Circa 1835)

I clicked all over the first link.  I have no idea what you mean by related material but all I get is the abstract.  And in re the second article I am well aware that it was just the abstract.  It was also the entirety of your link.  When are you ever going to actually post a study that can be examined?  Surely there must be millions of them.  At least as many as there are bodies in the mass graves.

That's odd, I found links to the full study and to related materials. You must have net nanny or something on your browser. Why don't you respond to what is in those links and the many others I've given? Sneering and scoffing is the cop out of the ignorant.

Your incompetence does not mean I have to be your servant and spoon feed you. If you are incapable of understanding an abstract you will be even more lost with the rest of it. Click the links yourself or be silent. Of course we know that will never happen.

That's what I thought.  You got nothing.  I clicked all over it.  Nothing but the same abstract.  Either you have something and will post it or you don't and will keep lying.  I got my money on the latter.

 this should be made into a national TV show, with Zappa arguing various folks on various points...

The arbiter will be Wally George and he will always side with Zappa and give the crowd the thumbs down sign while they boo in disgust at the communist swine in the hotseat.

Zappa covers up the fact he can't understand scientific articles by bitching and whining. I've posted loads of material showing toxicity of roundup. What is his answer? He can't find some of the material so he seems to think his incompetence negates science.

Here is another study. To help the comprehension impaired, the abstract sums up the article

Zap is doing his usual act, obfuscating, distorting, nit picking, etc. As most of us know already, he is not here for honest debate but to entertain himself while spewing baloney and ranting on his favorite topics. I have presented study after study showing toxic effects from roundup. Here is another one

http://pubs.acs.org/doi/abs/10.1021/jf9606518

Here is a study on the toxicity of gmo's

Stonehenge is quoting studies which only show their abstracts....and if you want any more information....you have to purchase it $39.95 for the first and $35.00 for the second. I really don't think anyone here is willing to part with that cash just to make a point that you may be a tad overzealous in your crucifixion of roundup and GMO's. Perhaps you could back up your statements with some actual studies that we CAN ACTUALLY REVIEW.:sunny::peace:

I'm guessing you haven't read the abstract, have you zap? It sums up everything in a nutshell.

Since scientific stuff is too tough for you, here is one with less big words

I can't believe this is still going on.

This argument is going no where.

I may as well fan the flames with more stuff for Zappa to argue over.

fraud in Roundup / Glyphosate testing

"In 1991, laboratory fraud returned to the headlines when EPA alleged that Craven Laboratories, a company that performed contract studies for 262 pesticide companies including Monsanto, had falsified test results.47 "Tricks" employed by Craven Labs included "falsifying laboratory notebook entries" and "manually manipulating scientific equipment to produce false reports."48 Roundup residue studies on plums, potatoes, grapes, and sugarbeets were among the tests in question."

Craven Labs

"The Environmental Protection Agency announced on March 1, 1991 that it was investigating Craven Laboratories for "allegedly falsifying test data used by chemical firms to win EPA approval of pesticides."[2]

Following conclusion of the EPA's investigation, the Department of Justice announced on February 25, 1994 that the president of Craven Laboratories and fourteen of its former employees were adjudged guilty for the falsification of research data."

Who would have thought, Monsanto using false research data from 3rd party researchers they basically own

I wonder how many other studies were done like this and never caught.

Please keep arguing how the noble Monsanto is just trying to feed to working class though

Here's more food for thought

Linda Fisher is the current vice president for DuPont Safety, Health & Environment and the chief sustainability officer. And as quite openly stated she has also held a number of positions in the political sphere:
"Deputy Administrator of U.S. EPA; U.S. EPA Assistant Administrator - Office of Prevention, Pesticides and Toxic Substances; U.S. EPA Assistant Administrator - Office of Policy, Planning and Evaluation; and Chief of Staff to the U.S. EPA Administrator. Fisher, an attorney, was also vice president of Government Affairs for Monsanto and was "Of Counsel" with the law firm, Latham & Watkins."

Michael Taylor "a former Monsanto executive, joined the F.D.A. in 2009 as “senior advisor to the commissioner.” He was a staff attorney and executive assistant to the F.D.A. commissioner before joining a law firm in Washington in 1981, where he worked to secure F.D.A. approval of Monsanto’s artificial growth hormone before returning to the F.D.A. as deputy commissioner in 1991."

"Monsanto Controls both the White House and the US Congress"

Interesting paper with solid key points around "Monsanto friendly legislation" as well as "Government Appointment of Monsanto Associates"
