I think the. Mods need to be more heavy handed with these kids. There parents did the world a great disservice by not beating them.  The job is up to us.


I thought about wakeboarder the other day . Hope he I'd still ok and is working on his recovery. He was always a solid dude

I can see how quitting the site would be a way of moving on from what happened. Hopefully something like that is the reason for his continued absence, rather than the other possibility some have suggested.

That's what I'm hoping.  I can't recall ever having interacted with WakeboardrB, but I always get bummed out when someone from the site passes and want to remain optimistic in the matter.

Sometimes people just stop posting.  I have a couple 1 or 2 year gaps in my own posting history.

Yeah man, most of us have been around the internet long enough to know to be doubtful when we read a story that seems a bit far-fetched.  Doesn't change the fact that crazy shit does happen in real life, but many of us don't want to feel suckered when it ends up being a troll thread.  I'm doubtful of everything I read, no matter how much I want to believe in little feather-like creatures and frog-human babies.

Just saw in a related thread the WakeboardrB was claiming to have pancreatic cancer when he had the first suicide attempt.  I had forgotten about that.  :sad:

Long story short
Last time I talked to him he was doing alright and was over the hump of the suicide attempt and was getting some help.
I doubt well,see him back around these parts and I wish him the best.
