Slime Mold: Amber colored. ID request (w/pic)

Habitat:
It was growing on branches. (pretty sure they were live branches, didn't pay attention to species of tree however :sad:

) It appeared to be feeding on lichen. It looked like it had eaten most of the lichen on the branch it was on, and had begun to ooze downward, in order to drop down to a lower branch.

Flesh: Amber colored, but able to be seen through somewhat.
I wonder if slime molds even sporulate?

Other information: I had seen a slime mold on a previous outing which was see through, normal glass colored. It also appeared to feed on lichen and was found on a branch. So my friend suggested it may be the same species?

I was hoping I could get away without a picture since slime molds don't really look like anything special. But if its needed just lemme know
