Excellent. One thing I noticed, however, is that you seem to have a lot of exploded grains in these jars. Always a *bitch* to shake.

This is not such a big problem as we use big amounts (5 ml/jar) of a very heavy mycelial suspension. This tends to loosen up the grain a bit. Colonisation is fast, record is 5 days to complete permeation!

Heres a good tip for you. I noticed your jars had a nasty calcium build up where the water level was from pressure cooking. This is very common and easily fixed. Just dump about 3-4 caps full of viniger into your pressure cooker before you sterilize. It will eliminate those pesky white lines on your jars.

I had been wondering how to get rid of those nasty white lines myself. Never even thought of using vinegar in the cooker, always scrubbed them like hell with the stuff during the pre-cleaning process. Thanks for the tip.

Nope, it won't smell at all. But if you'd prefer, or your out of viniger, lemon juice works just as good. 3-4 cap fulls of lemon juice will work the same. Basically anything with an acidic content. I got the tip staight out of the manul that goes with my pressure cooker.
