I think it is if you meet an individual and automatically assume things about him based on his race.

>The belief that race accounts for differences in human character or ability
I'm uncomfortable with that because I believe that race can account for differences in human character and ability.
But this belief is only applied in general terms, and are kept open for debate

all humans generalize, catergorize, and stereotype to some degree, hell animals do.
its how we survive. if we say had to re examine a thornbush each time, without remembering what one thornbush was like, we would get no where. even tho say some thornbushes dont hurt nearly as bad if at all as others.

Exactly, it's true. Irish drink, Jews entertain, blacks sing and play basketball, and the whites try to kill everybody.

so if you just observe what is there, say what is
not say anyone is better than anyone else
if you say the truth...can that make you a racist?

Can you say that again more clearly? Thanks - not exactly sure what you are saying.

Well, if you say "This black man is a lazy, fucking asshole", without meaning you think every single black man is, then I doubt it's racist. Nor is saying that you've been mugged by more black men than white. It's not like you're trying to discredit an entire race, it's just an observation. Kinda like how I make observations on my own race as well.

I hate murderers. Am I a racist?

Murdiers fall into every race and creed, they are not a group of people onto themselves but rather are apart of every group.
Its like saying I hate people with eyes always seeing and shit! thats just crazy talk
BUT when you start to classify people by a trait such as blue eyes then your stepping into the relm of racism

is it racist to say that a group is more prone to alcoholism or is more likey to graduate college based on stats?
