I was 11-13 my dad took my to a state fair and these guys were playing

they are ok I don't listen to them anymore but they still remind me of when I was growing up in the 90s

The first band I remember seeing was a Beatles cover band at some little festival.
My first real show was the Wailers when I was either 14 or 15 at Summerfest.

I went to a handful of little indie shows in the basement of a local church and stuff like that throughout the years but nothing too awesome until gathering of the vibes 2010, gone back every year since

I was probably 5-10 and it was random festivals my parents brought me too. I have no idea what was first, maybe Phish or something. Though I am not much of a phish fan at all so I hope not :lol: I went to so many festivals as a kid, I was a stereotypical little hippie festival kid, I had dreads and everything. At like 5 years old :lol:

The first one I really remember, and that I went to on my own choosing rather than being taken to by my dad, was Ray Charles when I was like 12. It was at the free jazz fest in my home town. There were so many fucking people, waaaaaaay more than any other time at that jazz fest.

I don't really remember too much about it though, unfortunately.

My first big concert was Anthrax and Judas Priest. It was free. The first concert I paid for was Killswitch.

My last two concerts were Trampled by Turtles and Phish

Anthrax was awesome. Judas Priest was a lot of fun but it really isn't my kind of music. I would go again if it was free

I was probably 14 years old. I don't exactly remember my age.
I still think Ted has great guitar licks and was an inspiration when i first picked up the guitar more than a decade ago.

Ted Nugent was followed by Kiss the following year.

My first show with my parents was Johnny Cash, my first concert without parents was Journey in 1980.

If I ever hear another Journey song I will gouge my eyes out with a rusty fork...
