Democrats aren't doing shit for energy.  All the oil being produced that has pushed America to the forefront is on private land that the government can't control easily.  Meanwhile, massive amounts off oil and natural gas are on 'Federal land' that has had development blocked by morons on the left.

They are equally evil and both are in favor of spying on citizens, taking away our rights, stealing our money and property and appeasing big business and the rich. Not just garden variety rich but the super rich are the ones who call the shots no matter which part of the duopoly is in power. Vote third party if you want change.

Cities are corporations that buy their land of the federal government. from there the city is form and subdivisions can be created by entrepreneurs.

The vaste land is crown land that can be rented to anyone who wishes to buy rent it (i think there's a process though)

I'm not too sure how it works but I know im not too far off if im wrong

Land can be acquired and rented just like regular real estate. Although there's is a process to it. Again unsure

I love how all the people pro this bill cite jobs and economic factors. Tar Sand oil has a worse return on investment than nearly any other energy source, and the total number of long term jobs for this project (for this country) is laughable. Tar Sands is also dirty as hell, and required massive deforestation to pull off. Solar has dropped 80% in price in the past five years, wind is perfectly viable, as is nuclear, and none have the very real and very costly public health consequences that for some reason always get left out of the energy debate. Pro-oil/gas conservatives bitch about having to pay for people's healthcare, but have no problem essentially poisoning people, and no problem ignoring external costs while touting some conveniently distorted version of classic economics...the hypocrisy is staggering. We have far better options, environmentally, economically, and in terms of public health these days. Why risk it to save a fraction in up front costs only to bear the significant external costs later? All while putting money into the hands of people who have most of the government bought.
