I want to buy an interior wall mounted fountain

It looks great, it ads humidity to the air and it has been proven to be as effective as an air filter to clean the air.

The problem is, I never thought I would be confronted to so many fucking choices in my life. There's a couple thousands to choose from... I only need one. Of course like every other things in life, having too many choices is the same as not having enough.

Pis the ones you think looks the best. I want to see if I can get some sort of consensus here.

I'm looking for something big to put on my wall. Based on my needs Its going to cost minimum 1000$ and I am willing to dish out maximum 1500$

Had the same problem while I was choosing one for our den! It literally took me about a month to decide on which to get. Luckily I stumbled upon a website that sells top notch stuff! This is the one I got: https://www.soothingcompany.com/tranquil-river-floor-fountain-center-mounted.html so stoked, it's gorgeous and very effective as it is quiet. This website also sells a couple more that I believe are within your budget, I found it better to just go through a couple of websites with only a handful of selections instead of scrounging through houzz because I honestly thought the crazy number of choices was a bit overwhelming :confused:

do people actually use bread boxes? I remember seeing a few when I was way young..

I would get one of those cereal containers, but I go through it before it gets stale

I have a free standing one.  Cant have a fireplace in my little apartment, so why not a big ol' fountain?  The pump is a little loud for my taste and they(who will go unnamed for now) forgot the led backlighting, but it is beautiful and relaxing to meditate around.  Maybe i'll post a pic or video ov it.  Maybe.

I'd start with the foundation, an ABS/PVC or Fiberglass basin where the
pump would reside, you'd need tubing to carry the water with some
irrigation tips or a simple orifice to allow water to exit. determine the
pump size you'd need to carry the volume of water tot he height you want.
a small pump in the $40-$50 rage would be sufficient for most of those.
and then choose your remaining materials. slate is a natural look and can
be picked up cheaply, hammered copper is a little more costly but can be
given an nice patina. assemble your stuff and use fiberglass and epoxy to
secure it all.

it's not difficult once you analyze the construction. you can get some
good ideas from the internet. it's loaded with helpful shit

you could send me a pick and a fist full of cash and I could build one

you're looking at around $60 for fiberglass and epoxy, up to $80 for the
pump and hose, maybe $20 for slate, $100 for copper, $40-120 for glass
depending on what's done to the glass then the rest of the materials will 
something to cover the sump, frame and hoses. maybe some LEDs of you
really want

less than $500

I'm guessing you arent aware that there's hundreds of formulations of
epoxies that are suitable for many uses, at work we use some on the
floors that have withstood 5+ years of industrial traffic

there are other things that can be used in conjunction with the epoxies such
as polyurethane adhesives. to secure things in place but you still want an
epoxy as a sealer for many or the components
