You're right but that doesn't mean the behaviour should be encouraged. No one wants to see this shit all over when they go out to see some nature. She should feel ashamed.

How is what she doing technically any different than what ancient humans did when painting rocks and caves?
Some of the most celebrated art in the world is in the form of ancient cave paintings.
However many thousands of years old they are, they were technically graffiti when they were new.
The only difference is age.

I don't see how she's wrecking nature any more than what most of humanity is doing on a daily basis. In fact, if this was all she was doing as far as leaving her mark on nature, she'd be much more "environmentally friendly" than an average person.

He's not making a "creative monopoly". He's 100% right, that's the entire point of modern graffiti.

im an eagle scout man, we literally preach "leave no trace" techniques. when i do multiday climbs we actually poop in a fucking bucket and drag it behind us on a rope. just because the majority of the human race are assholes doesn't mean you should be as well.

the "point" of modern graffiti is as numerous and varied as there are graffiti artists. To say that she's wrong simply because her view of art is not the same as yours is the mentality of a card carrying creative monopolist.

All of the unnecessary rallying for punishment would be better suited in a BDSM thread than for this woman's random, goofy rock doodles.

I honestly don't care. It looks like most of her art is small and kind good actually. At least she isn't drawing gigantic penises on everything.

Years ago I met a guy who said he planned to trace over pre-existing Native American paintings that he'd seen on rocks and in caves in the desert southwest.
It's kind of a toss up.
Just let nature do it's thing and let the paintings fade?
Or try to preserve Indigenous heritage at the expense of leaving modern pigments in place of the the original thing?

I like the stuff that Banksy does though.

Y'know, I didn't think about that, but that's a good point.

I've seen lots of beautiful rock walls that were defaced with penises and swastikas, so it could be worse.
