Lol, I know this is crazy talk, but I am actually curious if anyone switched just because apple now makes large screened phones.

Congrats? Android phones have had large screen (with better displays) phones for years....

And they support miracast... multi-window mode.. and other features that Apple MAY release 3 years from now in the iPhone8 and claim it's some revolutionary proprietary thing.

No thanks.

My Android phone came out early last year, and it still has a better display than the Iphone6+, and has more features, and is basically waterproof.

Well, that looks like a smartphone to me, has a phone app, a browser app, etc. You can just choose the android option lol.

i just switched to an iphone 5 from the four
i get em for free since my dad is big into apple products and sends me his old phones when he upgrades
i don't really give a shit what kinda phone i have as long as it can play music and make calls

I did. I switched to iphone around 2011-2012 to get the iphone 5 and haven't looked back. Compared to the Nexus S, iOS was superior. Can't comment on how it compares to current phones.

I had an android. Like a really early generation with the slide out keyboard, and then I dropped it in a river a few months ago and got a refurbed iphone 4 and that's more than enough for my needs.

I am not the type to really covet the latest and greatest in terms of cellphones, I like having a smart phone to access the web, gps, and play music in addition to normal phone capabilities, and as long as it can do that I'm more than happy.

Never had an iPhone. Still have my HTC M8 and love it. I had a galaxy nexus before that and it was the shit

I'm not talking about switching to the iphone 4 or 5, I'm talking about JUST the 6. I'd say the 6 is the biggest gimmick in all of apple history.

First they copy all the jailbreak tweaks that had been around for ages and now they copy android and samsung features and claim it as their own. Fucking bullshit. I fucking hate apple. Yah, I have an imac, macbook, ipod classic, iphone4 which I now use as an ipod touch, but I'll never buy another apple product again. If any of them die, I'll just buy a new logic board or what not and replace it myself. Hell I have the oficial apple take it apart manuals for all my devices.

Went from a terribly slow and laggy Android back to an old brick nokia (the first model that came out with snake 2) a couple years ago.

Several months ago MetroPCS was having a sale and I got a Nokia Lumia 521 for 100 bux. I can't praise it enough. It looks nice, great camera, extremely long battery life, absolutely no lag opening/changing apps, and has pretty much all the same features as the Iphone or Samsung Galaxy.

Favorite features are the built in free wi-fi calling software, and that it syncs up with both my computer and xbox. I can control my computer or xbox completely through my phone using the SmartGlass app.

I don't understand how most people I know drop 500-800 dollars every year for a new Iphone or Galaxy. I just never saw the point when my phone does just about everything at the same speed as those top of the line phones. :shrug:

Once Apple starts making an iPhone with a slide-out keyboard, I will jump ship.

Until then, Im sticking with my 2010 LG Quantum. A QWERTY is too valuable to give up.

I use it everyday on Shroomery!
