The iPhone will be 4 or 8 gig, so the 3 gig response doesn't compute.

I am on the road a lot and want to have a phone that incorporates what the iPhone promises to do.

hi sorry i went to muay thai training didn't get to see your response till now...

a good phone, hrm, well i'll start off by saying that many 3g phones on the market already have the capability to play mp3s, video clips, etc...i'm not sure about the mobile phones in the US, since the names and the releases are a bit different depending on which manufacturer than those in europe. I can suggest to you that nokia has a pretty good mp3 phone, the n 91, it has 8gb internal memory and of course you can expand this (note: something the iphone can't do). the nokia n70 music edition is also good.

what i like about nokia, it runs symbian os, the n series that are coming now are running v3. take a look at the amount of support and how many developers there are making 3rd party applications for symbian...it's a pretty stable os for a phone.

if you want a good browser, then i really suggest you wait for the nokia n95. i had a sneak preview of the browser's capabilities a couple of months ago, it was still buggy then, but boy is it going to be great. i can't really go into details...but it of course supports rss feeds, xml, podcasts etc. they pushed the launch date of this phone till the 2nd quarter of this year...it was supposed to be out in january but they're adding more perks to the phone.

and for those of you who are still considering an iphone...
