there are several books & even a recording (by wasson & co.) of maria sabina's mushroom velada...
there are quite a few books on various aspects of shamanism & hallucinogenic drugs... newly out is pinchbek's _breaking open the head_ but furst, le barre, schultes, and many more have their stories to tell...
check out www.erowid.org & www.csp.org & maybe www.psychedelic-library.org for starters i suppose...

Hi gnrm23,

That suggestion would only apply to ayahuasca since the South American Idiands do not use psilocybe mushrooms ritualistically or ceremoniousley.

And yage.net does have great ayahuasca sites on its network.

Do individuals use them in south america? I mean, there arn't any official rituals in the west for using mushrooms either but there are still millions of people using them.
