I have often wondered if the wild shrooms I have been trying to gro will be more potent grown indoors.

Would the shroom be more potent grown in ideal conditions?

I have noticed a slight increase in potency between the spring cubes and the fall cubes.

Yes, has to do with them not being in the sun and stuff. Stamets book covers the reasons why.

The ones that we have been picking since the cold snap have been MUCH more potent than the earlier ones. 2-3 medium shrooms and you are there! Late in the spring you had to eat 6-8 medium shrooms the get the same effect. Thats what makes me think that the conditions that they grow in have lots to do w/potency.
