well all i know is that some cubensis seem to be more potent than others or they were just not grown right and never met their true potential. I once ate five grams of stropharia cubensis which looked beautiful but did not do much to me at all. on the other hand i have eaten 2 grams of some other cubensis and had a nice, intense, holding on by a thread trip.

You said you ate 4 mushrooms. Well 4 mushrooms shouldn't have done much in the first place. Unless these mushrooms were pretty big and you picked them at the prime moment. I can't beleive that there are all these responses and no one has said this but...it's not how many shrooms you take but the dry weight that is ingested. For the typical indoor grown cubensis thresh hold is about 2 dry grams. Most cubes grown under the same conditions will be equally strong. The big difference will be in the secondary analogs that are present...for example some cubes are speedier than others...some tend to put users to sleep...some are more visual and others more audio...varying analogs. But over all a cube is a cube. Sometimes medications and even diet practices just prior to a trip can have an affect on your suceptability to the shroom. If it persists you may want to add an inhibitor such as syrian rue to your trip materials. Good Luck.------------------ Peace, Love & Light
