And your point is? We "learn" from the old ones.... I can teach you how to build a cabin, fix a radio or repair a TV. That is old news to some, but new to others... After my stint in the Army, I went to work for Baxter's Laboratories in Marion North Carolina. We made intravenous solutions for hospitals around the world. I worked on the "prep" crew, we took apart all the plumbing and the filling machines every night, washed them bleached them, put them back together and ran hot steam though them before 1st shift started filling bags. Did you know that? That is old news to me but new news to others.... Their dirty floor/room was clean enough to eat off.... Thanks to all the "teachers", we appreciate all you do for we are learning. However, if you would like your computer, TV, house repaired, give us a shout...

Yeah but there is old and then there is old. This is like mathematics that predates the concept of 0. You need to be really careful learning from old info in a discipline as young as mycology is. Some is fine, some is disaster. Right off the hop I can tell you that saying you need colonization temps of 84-86 and fruiting temps of 74-78 is plain retarded. Like thinking the world is flat.
