Cacao and shrooms question

I have shroom chocolates that I was told contain 2.5 g, as well as some Baker's unsweetened 100% cacao baking chocolate. I'm wondering how much of the actual chocolate I should eat before eating the shroom chocolate, and if I should eat it directly before the shroom chocolate or an hour before. Thanks in advance..

wait, you have some shroom chocolates, and some baker's chocolate?
Baker's chocolate is not for straight up eating. That shit is concentrated unsweetened cacao, eating it would be bitter as fuckballs. I'm confused by your post.

caffeine and theobromine are the two verified psychoactives in cacao. cacao also contains other things, including MAOis, which would be the most pertinent trip enhancers. Now, the catechin and epicatchin, which are MAO-B inhibitors, have been shown to have very poor bioavailability, so it's unlikely that they have an effect. The MAOis other than those two, the document says it's yet to be determined if the quantity and bioavailability is sufficient.

If they do have an effect, I hear typically when an MAOi is taken with a psychedelic it is taken anywhere from with the psychedelic to 45 min. prior.

Caffeine and theobromine definitely have an effect though, so pure cacao will have an effect on a trip. And you can take it before you eat the mushrooms, as indicated above, or even mid-trip.

If you really want to enhance the trip do it with some lemon juice, although not sure how that would react with the cacao

I've done the lemon tek, made the effects come on much, much faster but I'm not sure if it increased the intensity for me.

Your welcome. Also, you can blend or boil the cacao bar in water to liquefy it for easier ingestion.

and by the way, you should always take maois before you take the aforementioned x tryptamine. you want the enzymes to be inhibited from breaking down the trypt as early as possible ideally

Ha I guess I wasn't very clear.

I have chocolates with 2.5 gs of mushrooms.

I have 100% cacao Baker's unsweetened baking chocolate.

I want to eat the Baker's chocolate to enhance my trip.

I was wondering how much of the cacao I should eat to get the desired effects during my trip, and when I should eat it relative to eating the mushroom chocolates.

When I used cacao powder as a stimulant, which is partially defatted and isn't the same as what you have, I would use 2-3 tbsp. :shrug:
