That's a brilliant strategy - good luck. Be sure to "upgrade" to 40's in a couple weeks, and keep rising steadily until you are completely dependant on them. Yeah then you'll be cool!

i know how you guys feel i had a opiate habit i quit them and havent gone back to them since havent even thought about them either. Im glad too they are bad shit.

heh, sorry but this post totally made me think of  Ricky from Trailer Park Boys. especially that episode when he is sleeping in his car growing dope in the backseat, and Bubbles comes along and takes back his cat and they practically get into a fight because a Squirrel pissed in one of Ricky's plants and killed the plant and he was complaining about how he needs a cat to protect them.
heh but not just that, what you said was like a good representation of his life as well... i had a good laugh. thanks man.

after many months. I have decided to post here. it has taken me a long time to post on this thread because its very serious for me. I consider dlag a good friend and I think it has gotten to far.

dlag your dad will help...

I agree with strumpling and fugushungry. If fungushungry can do it, you can do it. fungushungry has a great plan and he wants to help himself. stopping all drugs it the only way to not cheat yourself. its not to late dlag, stop it now. don't do this to us... I get hurt when I see this, I don't talk about it but you are a great man. you have love for this world and community. Do ruin it by this... just say no. please say no.. think of us at the gathering. we are there for you. in spirit we are with you. I hope you find the love you need without the drugs.

quitting all drugs is the best option. its just for a while til you can live without them. I know you have aniexty. I do too. I would have done the same as you and taken alot of drugs after my breakup.

I am so glad I didn't do that though. I stopped cold turkey and I would even pass it up when pot was passed to me. I will thanks myself for making that decision for the rest of my life..

I found that I was doing drugs for all the wrong reasons. No drugs should be used to stop heartache. It wont help.. it worsens it. Once I knew I would could do mushies or pot without doing it to escape is when I started again. I don't smoke offend now and I am happier for it... I have more money and things have been going good in my life because of the decisions I made months ago to stop using them.

Just say no,

come on you know its the right thing to do... even if you can't stop just admit its the best thing to do. thats a start.

I had said I was done here but this is important:

Don't push your Dad away when he confronts you dude!! Of all people, he will do his best to understand your situation, and although he may be a bit pissed (you can't blame him.. You're "HIS" and he's just learned about a whole spectrum of stuff YOU'VE BEEN HIDING FROM HIM), he will definitely want to help you get back on your feet.

Please be honest with him - don't hold back on telling him about basically everything you've told us, and he won't hold back on love and assistance.

It will be more embarrassing if you hide things longer and make it seem like you've got everything under control and then crash out even harder later down the road than if you simply admit it all to him now and tell him you'd like his support through your "recovery?"

He'll be disappointed if you "come clean" with him, but not as disappointed as he'll be if you don't tell him what's going on and if he senses that you're just trying to get him away so you can do more drugs....

while this may or not be a good idea in this current sitution, for me, i would not turn to my parents for help anymore. i've asked them multiple times in the past for them to get me help and for a little while they seemed understanding. then they just stopped taking notice in me and don't even ask how i am anymore.

it sucks to admit, but the only person who is really going to be able to help you, is you. identify all your problems and your faults, and try to set up a gameplan as to how you're going to work through things. it seems like you have way too much time on your hands and the time you do have, you spend it doing the wrong things. i know from experience how quickly you can almost fail out of college if you put it off for long enough, so my advice to you if you wish to succeed in school is to reprioritize your life and commitments. set up a time where you will focus on schoolwork, or anything else that's necessary to your well-being: eating, exercising, reading, showering/cleaning, getting out, etc.

when i was hospitalized last year because everyone thought i was crazy, i tried hard to think of why exactly i was there and i concluded i never, ever fucking ever want to end up back there. i tried to come up with a list of things i could do better, or that i wasn't doing at all that i should be doing. i admit i haven't stuck to my plan at all times, but being more aware of easy things you can do to make yourself feel better is vital in overcoming the bad times.

Yes if it works out it can indeed help motivate you, however you must realize you cant rely on most girls. One could also say that this girl could eff you over, and then you could go into a spiraling depression...
