I also have these other oysters growing, but I have no clue what they are.

They just said "Aloha" on them, which I'm guessing means they came from Aloha Medicinals.

Maybe Phoenix Oysters?  They just popped up this morning.

Yo yo AP what t fucks up? Tubs makin shrooms that's cool I'm glad it's happening. I think I finally got some trich on my tub. I wasn't tryin to get it or nothing but I was kinda stoked when it showed up after the third flush cause I only ever seen pics of it. I'm sure I'll grow to hate it with a passion but you know...fjejsjdn

you know what dahmer?  I'm not even mad about my trich subs.  they're still puttin out like a whore on prom night :laugh2:

and these are some oysters I had made for my mom with all that cardboard I was shredding a couple weeks ago.

I tossed a tub outside the other day cause o trich. It had already come through with some flushes so I wasn't choked and figured that I don't need the tub yet, maybe the RH can hold on enough if I leave it in the tub. Well it decided to start raining like a mofo and the temps dropped to 10C. I actually needed the space for my PM tub so one way or another it was going outside :wink: Not sure if I will see fruits or not from it now cause of the cold, but if I even get one it will be my first outdoor fruits, even tho its still in the mono :lol:

nice oysters apprentice!!  my "blue" oysters look all grey in this heat :frown:
I'm pretty sure i am tired of eating oysters at this point too :frown:
my plan was always have some growing to eat, turns out they aren't like ramen noodles....its very easy to get tired of them :lol:
have u ever noticed the taste difference they have with each substrate?

I meant to post the pic with my comment lol...here she is man I'm about to give back to nature

The pic is sh I dunno why they keep fucking stretching but there's all the sudden real white patches, some on aborts and stumps but some just on the coir so I'm almost positive it's trich

Lol harvesting is my favorite thing man it's like a ritual. I use a scalpel for them all unless I'm in a rush and can't leave a few that are too mature then I scissor them. But that rarely happens

Harvest can be a bit of a drag for me sometimes. I really enjoy working with cultures on agar. Thats my favorite part

me too!!
cutting liners used to be my LEAST favorite, but now its harvest.  i feel like after all the work i did to get a good flush, from spore print to veil break, they could at least harvest themselves for me :shrug:  lazy ass fruits

Yea I'm getting into that as well but I haven't turned my "clearer" tub into a SAB yet so it's hard to see what I'm doing in my current one and transfers become a bit of a chore. I do love studying my plates beforehand though for a long time deciding where to transfer from. I don't know how many times I can say I love this hobby man...it's a lifestyle choice lol
