lucid weed dreams

Do any of you guys that smoke now and again notice that your ability to recall dreams when you wake up more or less difficult. From my personal experience it seems the longer I stay sober, the more vivid my dreams become (with the aid of a journal) Whereas if I break that sober streak and smoke (usually it has to be min 3 hours before sleep) I cannot remember my dreams. This pisses me off because I want to fuckin dream and smoke but know I have to choose one. If others have this problem is there anything you can do to combat this effect on the mind? And I dont mean abstaning from weed either - : P

Same problem here and many of my friends report the same thing. The more you smoke, the less dreams you'll remember. I don't know how this situation can be changed besides ,like you said, abstaining from smoking ... and btw, it's not just weed, also ashish, polen, king hassan all do the same stuff, THC baby.

It could be changed if some scientists were working exclusively with marijuana to be able to selectively breed it.. like finding out what strains are good for curing certain ailments, etc, and then so on..

Like they do in grow rooms in the Netherlands.

I have noticed this as well, it's been driving me nuts for the past month or so. I like dreams.

BUT, I recently smoked some weed and had a very lucid dream while napping. It was almost 4-dimensional.

This morning I discovered a great way to dream....

Ive been sleeping on my side for all my life, but when I woke up at 6:30 I turned onto my back. It was like I was 3/4s alseep and I was dreaming, but I was somewhat awake...

This thread has a few people verifying that marijuana use does have some kind of affect on dream states and dream recall. I quit smoking regularly because of it, and now my dreams are better, and my sleep is more energizing. Peace.

Some people talk about the 'high' you get from weed replaces the minds need to dream because it already used that side of the brain, well, overworked that side of the brain when you got stoned. I don't believe this because I have been ripped to shit many of nights and I do vaguely vaguely remember some fragment of a dream. I think what the weed is affecting is your memory recall, just making it more difficult to recall when it should just be natural....

There are a lot around, but a lot are in the Netherlands, too.. like Dutch Passion. DEEP respect for Dutch Passion, I want to visit that place before I leave Europe..

Amsterdam is definitely a required destination for me.

I barely remember dreams on days i smoke and when i smoke i smoke everyday so when i quit, like 2 days later i start remembering more dreams. I dont know if they are more lucid, what i do know is that they are awfly weird. I always start having weird dreams after taking a break from smoking weed. This is a fact because its happened to me every single time i quit for more than 3 days. I have dreams of being in weird places, people i never met or havent seen since childhood.

I also dream that im high or tripping when i havent smoked for acouple days. I didnt smoke for the weekend and on Sunday had 2 consecative nightmares. I didnt smoke today (drug test in acouple weeks) and im expecting to get some vivid dreams tonight or tommorow night.

I'm not exactly sure which herbs you can take, but there are some that claim to enhance dream memory along with other things such as becoming lucid. Im not even sure if they work, but it's worth a shot isn't it?

I would love to master lucid dreaming as well...but if it has to come down to choosing between dreaming and smoking, pot will win every time. You only sleep 8 hours a day anyways.

Its called Dream Herb you can get it at Bouncing Bear. You smoke it before going to sleep and you'll have lucid dreams. But it also causes some auditory hallucinations. It was used to hear the voices of the Gods back in the day as well as for lucid dreaming.

Well i heard that marijuana as well as alcohol diminish our REM cycles, while LSD and other psychadelics make them longer.
