They have these types of counterfeits where the technology used to create them is equal to or greater than the technology used to make genuine U.S. paper currency. They're called supernotes. One hypothesis is that a foreign government is behind them. Now those are something that I would treat just as regular cash. Chances are many people already have. I think many banks actually fail to determine the difference.

I think N. Korea is believed to be involved in such activities.

I watched kind of an interesting movie once about how the Nazis tried to get a group of prisoners to counterfeit foreign currency for them to destabilize their enemies' economies. The prisoners managed to stall the project long enough that the war ended though.

If I had access to those I would gladly pass them all day every day. Those supernotes are so good that you can deposit them in banks or buy casono chips without a problem. If they examine them closely they will determine they are genuine. I don't think you could as an ordinary person ever aquire one except receiving it in circulation and then using it as it was real without ever even knowing you had a fake.

Other than those indistinguishable "super notes" I can't imagine the risk reward would be worth it to most people. Your face would be all over town where ever you did it and for what profit? Maybe a few thousand worth of household merchandise and whatever legit money in change you got. Thats a big risk for very little payoff.

I would buy my groceries with it, gas, basically, anything that I could get away with. The money I make from my JOB I would just keep in the bank.
