I hear you man but I think the problem is that where between moderators right now, i'v seen a few locks but i dont think Aphex has the time to read all the posts in almost real time like shaft did.. It has to get better right? as to deleting off topic posts i dont think thats a good idea because after all it's a form of censership, and cencership brings bad vibes. Locking the shit disterbers out of the board for a short time (few days) might be a good idea.

I have a feling that its going to get better since unregistered users cant post anymore.

Yeah locking works but its still there in the way can you move it to the right spot? That would help in two ways. one they could answer it. and two not stay locked in some place it shouldnt be.

It's easier to lock posts. That's why we do it that way. There is no facility to move the post to a different forum. We are in the middle of changing moderators so things may be a little screwy for a while. Later.
